The first educational meeting in a new academic year

On September 9, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, chaired the first educational meeting in a new academic year.

The meeting was attended by Hieromonk Vyacheslav (Sorokin), Vice-rector for Educational work, Hieromonk Dometian (Kurlanov), Senior assistant to the Vice-rector for Educational work, Archimandrite Ilarion (Forkavets), Confessor of the Academy, Hieromonk Varnava (Losev), Dean of the Intercession Academic Church, and academic staff responsible for conducting educational work at the Academy.

During the meeting, they discussed main directions of educational activity. Bishop Theodorite pointed out the priorities and outlined some objectives for the upcoming academic year.

At the meeting, the Rector read a new edition of the rules of students’ behavior. 

Also, the committee submitted a petition to the Rector for a presbyter’s and deacon’s ordinations.
