Entrance Master’s exams at the Academy
Entrance tests were held both online and offline. Applicants graduated from the MThA Bachelor’s program met with department teachers in person. Those who graduated from other educational institutions took exams via Zoom.
On July 2, applicants took exams in the following Master's such as “Patrology and Christian Literature”, “Orthodox Theology”, “History of Christianity in the Modern Period”, “Pastoral Theology and Liturgics”, “Modern Canon Law”, “Biblical Studies”, “Russian Spiritual literature”, “History and Theory of Church Art”.
On the same day, Academy teachers assessed the applicants’ knowledge of ancient (Ancient Greek and Latin) and new (English, German and French) languages.
On July 3 and 4, an interview of applicants was held with the administration of the Academy. The committee consisted of Priest Pavel Lizgunov, Vice-rector for academic affairs and Dean of the theological and pastoral faculty, Hegumen Daniil (Vasilenko), Vice-rector for educational work, Hieromonk Kassian (Ploskiy), Senior assistant to the vice-rector for educational work, and Hieromonk Georgy (Pimenov), Deputy dean of theological and pastoral faculty.
