The Academy honored the memory of Great Martyr George the Victorious

On May 5 and 6, the Moscow Theological Academy held festive services in honor of Great Martyr George the Victorious.

Archpriest Sergiy Zabelich officed an evening polyeleos service.

The Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite performed the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church co-served by teachers and students in the priesthood.

During the divine service, the Rector ordained Hierodeacon Georgy (Pimenov), a post-graduate student of the Moscow Theological Academy, into a presbyter.
