MTA tutors attended a seminar for individual mentors at theological educational institutions

On May 23, a seminar for individual mentors took place in an assembly hall of the Synodal Library. 

The event was led by the Educational Committee. Representatives of the Moscow Theological Academy had a chance to make their presentations.

The list of participants:

• "The experience of encouraging students of theological schools to attend theological courses." Priest Aleksey Kotelnikov, Head of Additional Education programs at the Moscow Theological Academy;
• “The decision of entering holy orders by an MThA student. Time and influential matters”. Priest Evgeny Smolyaninov, a postgraduate student at the Moscow Theological Academy;
• "The work of individual mentors at the Moscow Theological Academy". Priest Georgy Shabalov, a senior tutor at the Moscow Theological Academy;
• "Some special features of individual mentors’ work with first-year seminary students" O.A. Sukhanov, Assistant Vice-rector for educational work at the Moscow Theological Academy.

The seminar was attended by representatives of theological academies, seminaries and the PSTGU. Overall, more than 60 participants attended the meeting.
