His Holiness Patriarch Kirill honored Archimandrite Mikhail (Borey) with a liturgical award
On May 3, on Monday of the Bright Week, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill celebrated Divine Liturgy at the Patriarchal Dormition Cathedral of the Moscow Kremlin.
By decree of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, a number of clergymen of the Moscow City Diocese, Patriarchal households outside Moscow, stauropegic parishes and monasteries were awarded with liturgical hierarchical awards for the diligent and zealous service to the Holy Church. Among them there was Archimandrite Michael (Borey), a sacristan of the seminary church of St. John the Climacus.
The Primate of the Russian Orthodox Church, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill awarded Archimandrite Mikhail with the right to serve the Divine Liturgy with opened Royal Doors until the "Our Father" prayer.
