His Holiness Patriarch asked the clergy and parishioners to become blood plasma donors

His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia asked the clergy and parishioners of Moscow churches to become blood plasma donors for COVID-19 sufferers.

“Due to the serious pandemic situation, there is now a need to appeal to the clergy and parishioners of the Moscow churches who have recovered from COVID-19 and ask them to become blood plasma donors for those fighting with coronavirus infection.

Today, blood plasma transfusion is one of the most effective ways for saving the life and health of sick people, so hundreds of sufferers are waiting for their last hope. It is our duty of Christian love to help them to overcome the disease”. говорится в послании Святейшего Патриарха.

The Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, conveyed the Patriarch’s request to teachers, staff and students of the Academy, as well as parishioners of the Intercession Academic Church.
