RESOLVED:
1. To approve the following documents:
Church educational standard of the main educational program for the Russian Orthodox Church staff training, speciality - "Icon painter", Sample curriculum for an icon-painting training, Sample calendar educational schedule for an icon-painting training.

2. To approve the Schedule of approbation and introduction of the " Church educational standard of the main educational program for the Russian Orthodox Church staff training, specialty "Icon painter"", instructing the Study Committee to ensure its implementation.
Background information:
The draft educational standard for an "Icon painter" profile was prepared by a special working group under the Academic Committee. It was discussed with the heads of icon painting departments from other theological educational institutions in the framework of the International Christmas Readings 2019 and 2020. Then, in 2020, the standard and accompanying documents were sent to the Supreme Church Council, whose recommendations were taken into while preparing the last set of documents.
