Students from the Patriarchal Exarchate of Africa visited the Moscow Theological Academy

On June 20, 2023, a group of African students from the Moscow State Pedagogical University, who are preparing to enter the Russian Orthodox theological schools, visited the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra and the Moscow Theological Academy.

During the visit, the guests venerated the relics of St. Sergius of Radonezh and were taken on a guided tour round the Holy Trinity Lavra and the Moscow Theological Academy.

Also, the students visited the Christian Art Museum «Church and Archaeological Cabinet» of the Moscow Theological Academy, academic classrooms, a library and icon-painting workshops. The guides and teachers explained them in details some features of the educational process and an academic life.

At the end, the guests had a conversation with the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow theological Academy.
