Rector, teachers and students of the Academy venerated St. Sergius of Radonezh

On October 7, 2022, there were traditional celebrations in honor of St. Sergius of Radonezh, a founder of the Holy Trinity Lavra.

In the afternoon, the Metropolitan of Chisinau and All Moldova Vladimir led the akathist singing to St. Sergius at the Trinity Cathedral.

The Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, co-served Metropolitan Vladimir together with the Lavra brethren.

At the same time, Archimandrite Platon (Igumnov) with students and teachers of the Academy led the akathist singing to St. Sergius at the Intercession Academic Church.

Archimandrite Michael (Borey) sang the akathist to St. Sergius at the seminary church of St. John Climacus.
