The MThA Rector took part in an online meeting of the Committee responsible for organizing an annual conference in the framework of Christmas Educational Readings
On October 7, the Bishop Theodorite of Zvenigorod, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, took part in an online meeting of the Organizing Committee responsible for an annual conference at the Russian University of Peoples' Friendship in the framework of Christmas Educational Readings titled "Alexander of Neva: the West and the East, Historical Memory”.
V.M. Filippov, President of the University, Chairman of the Higher Attestation Committee of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science chaired the meeting.
Priest Pavel Lizgunov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of the Moscow Theological Academy, took part in the event on behalf of the theological institution.
The conference was attended by Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, Chairman of the Russian Orthodox Church Educational Committee, I.I. Igoshev, Member of the Educational Committee and M.A. Simonov, Director of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Comparative Educational Policy.
The participants announced the main themes for scheduled conferences, discussed the list of speakers, topics for round tables and a format of the event.
