Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy attended the end of the year Diocesan Assembly in Moscow
On December 22, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill chaired the annual Diocesan Assembly that took place in the Church Council Hall at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior. The Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, attended the meeting.
At the beginning, His Holiness Patriarch Kirill greeted an assembly and announced the agenda.
They elected a Deputy chairman and a secretary of the Moscow Diocesan Assembly working group. The Deputy chairman was the Metropolitan of Voskresensk Dionysiy, a chief manager of the Moscow Patriarchate Affairs, the first Moscow vicar of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Abbot of the Novospasskiy stauropegial monastery, administrator of the Central Vicariate of Moscow. The secretary was Protopresbyter Vladimir Divakov, Secretary of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Dean of the Central District, Secretary of the Diocesan Council of Moscow.
Other members of the working group were Hegumen Methodius (Zinkovsky), Aabbot of the Nikolo-Ugresh stauropegial monastery, and nun Elisaveta (Pozdnyakova), Abbess of the Marfo-Mariinskiy convent.
The editorial committee preparing final documentation of the Diocesan Assembly chaired by of the Bishop of Zelenograd Savva included Archpriest Nikolay Balashov, Archpriest Maxim Kozlov, Archpriest Andrey Novikov, Archpriest Oleg Korytko, Archpriest Mikhail Prokopenko.
