The MThA Rector took part in the tenth meeting of the Inter-Council Presence Commission on Theology and Theological Education

On October 6, the 10th meeting of the Inter-Council Presence Commission on Theology and Theological Education took place at the assembly hall of the All-Church Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies named after St. Cyril and Methodius. 

The Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, were present at the meeting. 

It was chaired by the Metropolitan of Volokolamsk Hilarion, Chairman of the Commission, Head of the External Church Relations Department. The meeting was partly held remotely via Zoom.

As a result of a joint work, participants considered and approved some draft documents "On the inviolability of life from the moment of conception" and "Ethical problems associated with the in vitro fertilization method."

After that, the Commission heard speeches considering the progress of work on "The Orthodox Church and non-traditional religious convictions", "Orthodox view on the causes of extremism and terrorism" and "Attitudes towards modern practices of exorcism".
