The Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill co-served His Holiness the Patriarch on his 76th anniversary
On November 20, 2022, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill turned 76. On that day, His Holiness celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral Church of Christ the Savior in Moscow.
Patriarch Kirill was co-served by members of the Holy Synod and bishops of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, attended the service concelebrating the Primate of the Russian Church.
Chanting performed by the Patriarchal Choir of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior under the conduct of I. B. Tolkachev and the fraternal choir of the Holy Trinity - St. Sergius Lavra under the conduct of Hieromonk Nestor (Volkov).
A solemn reception was held in the refectory chambers of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior in honor of His Holiness’ anniversary.
