MThA Rector Bishop Kirill appointed for a dialogue with the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church and the Ethiopian Church

On March 12, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill headed the next meeting of the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church at the Patriarchal and Synodal residence in the Danilov Monastery in Moscow.

By the decision of the Holy Synod, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Abbot of the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra and Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, was appointed co-chairman of the committee for a dialogue with the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church (Journal No. 27) and the Ethiopian Church (Journal No. 28).
