Rector Blesses MThA Students for Marriage
Marriage is a sacrament of Divine love. In the Bible, Christian marriage is often compared to the relationship between Christ and the Church.

The Apostle Paul says that husbands should love their wives as Christ loved the Church, that is, to the point of death. Therefore, true love is a daily sacrifice and effort that spouses must learn.

On June 13, the Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, Bishop Kirill of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov, gave his blessing for marriage to the following students of the theological school:

- Postgraduate student Alexei Kostin and icon painting faculty graduate Anastasia Yurtova
- Second-year bachelor's student Kirill Malinka and Irina Sekriy
- Second-year bachelor's student Nikita Alyoshkin and MThA staff member Khristina Volkova
- Second-year bachelor's student Alexei Balokhonov and Anastasia Shlyapina
- Second-year bachelor's student Dmitry Mochalin and Zlata Rastorgueva
- Fourth-year bachelor's student Mikhail Polyakov and Elizaveta Kravchenko
- First-year icon painting faculty student Maria Mishkel and Denis Polin

Bishop Theodorite congratulated students and their fiancées and presented them icons of the Intercession of the Mother of God and Bibles.
