“Let us purify our hearts and see Christ”: the Academy has entered the path of the Great Lent

Forgiveness is the first step, and the Christians making it on the path to Easter.

Ahead there is a forty-day wandering through the Lenten period. This long and difficult journey will require Christians to be faithful and determined to follow Christ to the end. But at the same time, the Lord will not abandon all those who responded to His call and followed Him. Day and night, He will lead His Church and encourage His people. As in ancient times, He will cover faithful Christians in a desert. At night, God will enlighten the darkness of hearts and warm your heart.

Let’s gather all our strength and get ready for a long journey having reconciled with our neighbors.

On March 17, on Monday Vespers of the first week of the Great Lent Archimandrite Venedikt (Knyazev) performed the rite of forgiveness at the Intercession Academic Church co-served by teachers and students of the Moscow Theological Academy.
