The election of the Philology Department Head

On October 12, the Philology Department of the Moscow Theological Academy held its regular online meeting via Zoom.

The primary issue on the agenda was the election of a Head of the department. The Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, observed an election procedure.

The majority voted for Vladimir Mikhailovich Kirillin, who finally was chosen for this post.

The acting Head of the department introduced some new teachers to the Rector.

At the meeting, the participants also approved the topics for term papers and thesis as well as discussed other current questions.

In the end of the meeting, Vladimir Mikhailovich thanked all his colleagues for the trust they have shown.
