Moscow Theological Academy held the Open Doors Day
On May 13, the Moscow Theological Academy held the Open Doors Day online.
The event opened with a short presentation video about a structure, educational and scientific life of the Academy, as well as students’ leisure time.
The Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, greeted future applicants.
Then a word was given to Vice-rectors, faculty Deans and employees of the Moscow Theological Academy.
Priest Pavel Lizgunov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, told about Bachelor and Master's programs. Hegumen Adrian (Pashin), Head of the MThA Postgraduate Department, informed about studying attending a postgraduate academic course.
Hieromonk Vyacheslav (Sorokin), Vice-rector for Educational work, presented daily routines and discipline requirements for students of the Academy.
Lidia Ryazanova, Secretary of the Selection Committee, announced requirements and anticipated problems for applicants.
Then, guests could attend sections of different faculties.
Archimandrite Luke (Golovkov), Dean of the Icon-Painting Faculty, and Hegumen Lazar (Gnativ), Dean of the Church Singing Art Faculty, talked in details about an educational process and what steps should be taken to successfully enroll on courses.
Archpriest Sergiy Maratkanov, Head of the Correspondence Study Department, told about the specifics of attending correspondence courses at the Moscow Theological Academy, required documents for successful admission and answered questions from the participants.
