The Moscow Theological Academy and the Academy of Law and Administration of the Federal Penitentiary Service signed a partnership agreement
On November 17, 2022, within the framework of the International Conference in Ryazan dedicated to "The present state of penitentiary system taking into account the concept for the development of the penitentiary system of the Russian Federation up to 2030", the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, and the Sergey Mikhailovich Nikityuk, Head of the Academy of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service, signed a partnership agreement on cooperation between two educational institutions.
The agreement assumes:
- cooperation of educational institutions in the field of education, where the spiritual and moral education of students and the formation of a responsible civic position is of great importance;
- study of topical scientific and practical issues in main areas of law-making and law enforcement activities, spiritual and moral education, conducting joint scientific researches;
- organizing and holding joint scientific-practical and scientific-methodological conferences, round tables, seminars for students and teachers in order to integrate the educational process and scientific research, to involve students in scientific work;
- professional exchange in educational and scientific work such as lectures, seminars, discussions on general humanitarian topics during the educational and professional training;
- creating necessary conditions for mutual communication between students in order to implement the complex of additional education activities;
- joint use of educational, methodological and scientific equipment, library funds, technical and other sources used in the framework of the educational process;
- joint development and publication of educational, teaching and materials;
- organizing and holding joint cultural events such as excursions, concerts, musical and literary evenings, sports competitions, etc.;
- joint participation in socially significant events.
