MThA announces the enrolment of students for the English-language distance education programme for the 2024-2025 academic year

The study involves a one-year course (9 months) in seven fundamental subjects of the academic programme of Orthodox Theology: Holy Scriptures of the Old Testament and the New Testament, Dogmatic Theology, Patrology, Fundamentals of Orthodox Worship, Church History and History of the Russian Orthodox Church. At the end of the training a certificate of successful completion of the courses of the established form will be issued.

The course is taught through online lectures and self-study of educational materials. The course is meant both for the training of future clerics and church workers who serve in foreign parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church and who already have secular higher education and the necessary study skills, as well as for foreign-speaking students who wish to join and study Orthodox teaching in more detail.

The registration closes on 16 September 2024.
