The Department of History and Theory of Church Art of the MTA held an open day
Open day events organized by the Moscow Theological Academy become a great opportunity to find out about studied disciplines and personally communicate with teaching staff.
On May 20, future applicants visited the Moscow Theological Academy to take part in an open day at the Department of History and Theory of Church Art of the Faculty of Icon Painting and Church Art.
The event took place in the Elizabethan Hall of the Academy. Archimandrite Luka (Golovkov), Dean of the Faculty of Icon Painting and Church Art, greeted guests and told about an icon painting tradition of the Moscow theological schools. N.V. Kvlividze, Professor, Head of the Department of History and Theory of Church Art, spoke about teachers at the department and disciplines they teach. O.R. Khromov, Professor, Head of the profile of History and Church Art, mentioned some specific features of an educational program.
During the meeting, guests had a chance to ask their questions.
