At first, Rozalia Moiseevna marked the importance of giving theological assessment to the conceptual foundations of science. As it became a ground for our modern civilization, it should be overviewed in the context of the huge crisis that humanity faces today.
During her speech, the speaker touched upon issues related to the understanding of modern culture, the phenomenon of tradition, as well as the relationship between science and religion.
The purpose of the research is to develop a systematic approach for the theological interpretation of scientific knowledge. To achieve this, Rozalia Moiseevna turned to biblical and ancient foundations of scientific knowledge.
A lively discussion followed the report. Then, Archpriest Alexander Timofeev summed up the speech. He emphasized that the anthropological approach is valid and important in scientific discourse. This approach needs to be developed, because it is a man who is able to comprehend the world and know God. Accordingly, a lot depends on the attitude of a scientist.
