The MThA Associate Professor Priest Anthony Borisov presented some books for children
The Publishing House “Nikea” has released some kids’ books from the series “Orthodoxy for Children” by Associate Professor Priest Anthony Borisov.
The first acquaintance of a child with faith should be bright and memorable! Priest Anthony Borisov knows how to speak with the kids in their language. The series, which many children and their parents have already loved, now got bigger with two new books.
“Orthodoxy for Children. About the Bible”
The book “About the Bible” in the “Orthodoxy for Children” series is a brightly illustrated edition that will tell boys and girls about the Book of Scriptures in a comprehensible and interesting way. It encourages a child to open the Bible again and again immersing in its history, narrative and authors. The book is illustrated by Yulia Geroeva.
In the book you will find:
- the history of finding the most ancient Bible;
- description of different parts in the Holy Scripture, the history of their creation and authors;
- the Bible vocabulary that will touch the hearts of young Christians.
“Orthodoxy for Children. About the Apostles”
This colorful book tells about the closest Christ’s disciples, who spread the Gospel throughout the world. Apostles’ sincere faith were able to inflame other people’s hearts. Thanks to their preaching, many people heard about Jesus Christ and His teaching, abandoned cruelty of paganism and started value such Christians virtues as love, mercy and real goodness.
