Bishop Kirill performed the presbyter’s ordination at the Sunday Liturgy

On November 11 and 12, Sunday services held at the Holy Trinity St. Sergius Lavra honored the memory of Hieromartyr Zinovy, Bishop of Egea. The Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill officiated an All-night Vigil and the Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral co-served by the brethren of the monastery as well as the academic clergy.

During the Liturgy, Bishop Kirill ordained Deacon Gleb Shein, a fourth-year undergraduate student, as a presbyter and Subdeacon Evgeniy Shemanaev as a diacon.
