Епископ Кирилл благословил четыре пары на брак

“For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them,” says the Lord, addressing these words to His disciples and to His Church. Yet, these same words apply to the family - to spouses who build their lives upon a firm foundation, on the cornerstone which is Christ.

Since Apostolic times, the Christian family has been compared to the Church, where all are gathered by the Holy Spirit in unity, harmony, and love. The family is a "Little Church" that unites two individuals into one body and one spirit.

1 апреля четыре пары пришли к ректору Московской духовной академии епископу Сергиево-Посадскому и Дмитровскому Кириллу, чтобы получить благословение на вступление в священный союз:

• аспирант 3 курса и ассистент кафедры церковно-практических дисциплин Иван Падюкин и Елена Махова;
• студент 2 курс бакалавриата Евфимий Голоднов и Анастасия Шевко;
• студент 3 курса бакалавриата Павел Дяур и Анна Ансимова;
• студентка 4 курса факультета церковно-певческого искусства Мария Крючек и Давид Меняйлов.

As a memento, His Grace the Rector presented the future spouses with gifts: the Holy Scriptures and the Icon of the Protection of the Most Holy Mother of God.
