Bishop Theodorit took part in a meeting on engineering works held at the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius’s Lavra and the Academy
On January 27, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, took part in an online meeting on the engineering works and restorations held at the territory of the Holy Trinity-St. Sergius Lavra and the Academy.
The meeting was also attended by: the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Thomas, Abbot of the Holy Trinity - St. Sergius Lavra, Hegumen Gerasim (Dyachkov), Vice Rector for Administrative and Economic Work at the Moscow Theological Academy, Hieromonk Vitaly (Khakhonin), Cellarer of the manastery, Hegumen Josiah (Sidunov), Head of the Unified Customer Service, V.N. Sergienko, a chief engineer of the Holy Trinity - St. Sergius Lavra, S.S. Shmeleva, Head of an architectural and engineering group of the Unified Customer Service. The Federal State Enterprise "Directorate of the St. Petersburg KZS at the Russian Ministry of Construction" was represented by its General Director B.M. Daiter, First Deputy General Director S.V. Mulishov, Deputy General Director and Chief Engineer I.V. Pankov and V.A. Podobed, Head of the Reconstruction and Restoration Department. There also were A.V. Engovatova, Deputy Director for Research at the Archeology Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, I.V. Dolgov, General Director of ESK LLC, A.A. Kornienkov, a project manager of ESK LLC, V.M. Tupyakov, a chief project engineer of ASK-NORD LLC, V.A. Postolaki, a chief architect of the project of ASK-NORD LLC.
The meeting addressed the issues of engineering works at the territory of the Moscow Theological Academy, conducting archaeological researches, repairing of an underground passage between a library and an academic building, opening Wheat-gates and restoring the historical view of an academic necropolis.
