Bishop Theodorit took part in a meeting on the development of Sergiev Posad

On March 1, His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill held a meeting with a working group on the development of Sergiev Posad city.

The working group consists of the Metropolitan of Voscresensk Dionysiy, Chief executive of the Moscow Patriarchate, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Thomas, Abbot of the Holy Trinity – St. Sergius Lavra, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, Archpriest Leonid Kalinin, Chairman of the Expert Council on Church Art, Architecture and Restoration, Hieromonk Hermogen (Burygin), Acting Chairman of the Financial and Economic Department of the Moscow Patriarchate, Abbess Ksenia (Chernega), Head of the Legal Department of the Moscow Patriarchate.

At the meeting, they discussed some additions and changes suggested by the Russian Orthodox Church to the draft Concept for the development of Sergiev Posad as a National Spiritual Center.
