Entrance exams at the Faculty of Church Singing Art
From 8 to 10 July, there were entrance exams at the Faculty of Church Singing Art of the Moscow Theological Academy. Applicants arrived from Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Kazakhstan and Abkhazia.
On July 9, applicants had an interview with Hegumen Lazar (Gnativ), Dean of the Faculty of Church Singing Art. After that, they demonstrated their skills in musical-theoretical disciplines as well as in singing, playing the piano, conducting and solfeggio.
Also, they showed their knowledge of prayers and an ability to read in Church Slavonic.
At the end of the examination, the commission made a decision on recruitment for the upcoming 2021/2022 academic year.
On July 10, Hegumen Lazar announced a list of new entrants at the Faculty of Church Singing Art of the Moscow Theological Academy.
