Archimandrite Luke (Golovkov) officiated divine services on the Day of veneration an icon of the Mother of God “Bogolyubskaya”

On June 30 and July 1, Archimandrite Luka (Golovkov), Dean of the Icon-painting and Church Art Faculty at the Moscow Theological Academy, officed divine services at the Intercession Academic Church on the day of veneration an icon of the Mother of God “Bogolyubskaya”.

“God-loving Queen, Unsophisticated Virgin, Mother of God, St. Mary, pray for us loving You.”

On June 30, Archimandrite Luka officed an All-night vigil co-served by the academic clergy.

On July 1, Archimandrite Luke (Golovkov) celebrated the Divine Liturgy, which was attended by graduates and students of the Icon-painting and Church Art faculty at the Moscow Theological Academy.

On that day, Archimandrite Luka also celebrated his 60th anniversary. At the end of the service, graduates, students and staff of the Moscow Theological Academy expressed their congratulations and sincere wishes on that significant day.
