Academy returns to its normal life

On September 14, the Moscow Theological Academy returns to its habitual lifestyle after a quarantine regime. It was introduced on September 3rd as a result of the detection of coronavirus infection caught by Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, MThA rector.

Nowadays, Bishop Theodorite has totally recovered and got several negative COVID-19 test results. 

A weekly monitoring do not detect any other cases of COVID-19 among students, teacher or staff members.

It is worth mentioning that only lower bachelor courses and post-graduate students as well as icon painting and chorister’s faculties have returned to an academic residence. The rest of the students continue their distance learning.
