The Academy celebrated festive services on the Epiphany Eve 

The voice of one crying in the wilderness: «Prepare the way of the LORD; Make straight in the desert A highway for our God (Is.40:3). Today the word of God is being fulfilled. The One who will baptize us with the Holy Spirit, who clean and saves everyone from death is coming. So, «every valley shall be filled And every mountain and hill brought low; The crooked places shall be made straight And the rough ways smooth» (Luke.3:5). 

On January 18, 2025, the Epiphany Eve, the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, clergy, teachers and students of the Moscow Theological Academy celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church. 

After the Sacramental verse, Hieromonk Innokenty (Melikhov) delivered a sermon, in which he spoke about the meaning of the feast. 

After the Divine Liturgy, the Rector officiated the Great Vespers with reading of 13 parimias and led the rite of the Great Blessing of Water, co-served by the priesthood of the Academy. 

At the end of the service, Bishop Kirill greeted everyone on the great holiday and addressed the audience with his archpastoral word.
