The Academy celebrated the day of the Holy Spirit

At the beginning, the Holy Spirit guarded the world rushing over the water and warming everything on a new earth. The whole universe got the power of life from the Holy Spirit.

In that room in Jerusalem the Holy Spirit filled the apostolic church, when he touched souls of Christ’s disciples. The Life Giver, the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, glory to Thee!

On June 4, Archimandrite Platon (Igumnov) officiated the polyeleos festive Matins.

On June 5, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Intercession Academic Church.

After the Great Entrance, the Rector ordained Deacon Daniil Lyanov, a fourth-year undergraduate student, into a priest.

At the end of the Eucharistic Canon, Bishop Kirill ordained John Denisov, a fourth-year undergraduate student, into a deacon.

At the end of the service, the academic clergy sang the glorification to the Holy Trinity. Then, Bishop Kirill addressed an assembly with his archpastoral word.
