The Academy celebrates the Triumph of Orthodoxy

We can compare time of the Great Lent with the sea, where a ship of our soul may be caught in a storm. The beautiful white foam meaning the sweetness of life is behind us, and the powerful element is about to test the strength of masts, ropes and sails. The Great Lent encourages us to strengthen our faith in Christ and test our hearts in this difficult but joyful journey.

Our lighthouses are holy fathers, who guide and inspire us. The Church establishes the feast of the Triumph of Orthodoxy as a guiding star that leads the ship crew. Orthodoxy is like the power of water. It flows through generations of saints confessing the Trinity, the Incarnation of God and Holy Spirit.

Oh, time of abstinence and repentance! Support and strengthen our faith so that we can reach the quiet harbor of Easter!

On March 4, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, led an All-Night Vigil at the Intercession Academic Church.
