Academy prayed for the repose of the newly reposed hierarchs

On November 20, His Holiness Irineus Patriarch of Serbia and the Metropolitan of Kazan and Tatarstan Theophanes departed to the Lord.

The Rector Bishop of Zvenigorod Theodorite, clergy of the Intercession academic church and the students of the Academy gathered to pray for the newly reposed archpastors.

Before the funeral service, Bishop Theodorite addressed the audience and announced the death of His Holiness Patriarch Ireneus and Metropolitan Theophanes.

Chanting performed by a male choir led by Hieromonk Nestor (Volkov).
