The Academy celebrated the Holy Pentecost

Pentecost is a holiday of unity with God. The Lord summons all people into the unity of love and peace. The Holy Spirit gives life to this congregation, guides them along the path of salvation.

The Church is a place filled with Divine love. That is why there is no salvation outside it. A man should only open his heart and invite God into it.

On the eve of the holiday, Archimandrite Platon (Igumnov) together with the academic clergy performed an akathist to the Holy Trinity in the Intercession Academic Church.

Later, Archimandrite Venedikt (Knyazev) performed a festive All-night Vigil and lithia.

At the evening service Deacon Vasily Smirnov, a student at the propaedeutic Master's course, delivered a sermon. In his speech, the preacher focused on the divine gifts of the Holy Spirit, which acted on the apostles.

On June 4, the Bishop of Zvenigorod Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy.

After the Great Entrance, the Rector ordained Deacon Sergey Karelsky, a third-year postgraduate student, into a presbyter.

At the end of the Eucharistic Canon, Bishop Kirill ordained Daniil Lysenko, a fourth-year undergraduate student, into a deacon.

Before the communion, Maxim Panferov, a first-year Master's student, delivered a sermon.
