The Academy celebrated the Liturgy on the 16th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill

Working selflessly for the benefit of the Church of Christ, keeping Orthodox teaching in purity, to and leading people entrusted by the Lord to salvation are main tasks of the Primate of the Church. The Great Paraman, which is entrusted to the Patriarch, is a symbol of such an enormous responsibility.

Patriarchal service is a special feat, which is unbearable without God's gracious help. This is why the prayer support of the entire church community including the clergy, monks and the laity is so important.

On February 1, on the 16th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and All Rus' Kirill, Archimandrite Luke (Golovkov) celebrated the Divine Liturgy at Intercession Church of the Moscow Theological Academy co-served by the academic clergy.

At the litany, special petitions were proclaimed for health and longevity of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill.

At the end of the Divine Liturgy, the academic family sang many years to His Holiness the Patriarch and offered a prayer to the Lord.
