For saving a drowning person, Bogdan Ermilov, a first-year student of the Moscow Theological Academy, was honored with a certificate of honor and an award from the \"United Russia\" party, presented by the head of the Sergiev Posad urban district, Oksana Erokhanova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incident occurred on the evening of April 2, when Bogdan saw a woman who had fallen ill and, having stumbled, fell into the Bely Pond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"I was walking home from work; I teach children as a chess coach at the 'Phenomenon' school. Everything happened suddenly. It was just a shock, and I had to act immediately\", says Bogdan Ermilov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The young man was born and raised in Peresvet. In addition to working with children, he is a first-year student at the Moscow Theological Academy. According to the young man, there was simply no time to think at that moment. Despite the threat to his own life and the fact that the water was cold, Bogdan rushed to help. Passers-by who arrived in time helped those in the water to reach the shore and hand over the victim to the doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The head of the district, Oksana Erokhanova, noted: \"Looking at such young men, you realize: this is a person with a large and kind heart, with a strong inner core. I want to say thank you to his parents and teachers for raising a true citizen. For his lack of indifference, courage, and readiness to come to help without demanding anything in return\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
