On March 27, 2026, during the All-Russian Scientific Conference \"Nikon-Radonezh Readings\". held at the Moscow Theological Academy, an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation was signed between the Academy and the Faculty of Philosophy of Lomonosov Moscow State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The official document was signed by the Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, Bishop Kirill of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov, and the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy at MSU, A.P. Kozyrev.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The agreement is intended to formalize and expand the long-term interaction between the two leading educational centers. The main goal of the contract is to consolidate efforts in educational, research, enlightening, and publishing spheres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the framework of the signed document, agreements were reached on the comprehensive development of academic dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The parties plan to carry out a regular exchange of pedagogical experience, involve teachers in joint participation in the educational process, and develop new educational and methodological complexes and educational programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Significant attention in the text of the agreement is paid to scientific research work. It is expected that regular joint symposia, seminars, and conferences will be held, including the annual organization of the Nikon-Radonezh Readings, as well as the preparation and publication of joint scientific works and articles on priority areas of theology, Church history, and philosophy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important step in the practical interaction of the universities will be providing students of the Faculty of Philosophy of MSU with the opportunity to work with the collections of the Moscow Theological Academy library for conducting specialized research. Furthermore, in order to introduce them to the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Russian Orthodox Church, the agreement provides for the organization of regular excursions for students and the professor-teaching corporation of MSU to the Holy Trinity-Sergius Lavra and the Church-Archaeological Cabinet of the Moscow Theological Academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
