On February 1, 2026, the \"U Troitsy\" Choir Ensemble, founded by students of the Faculty of Church Singing Art of the Moscow Theological Academy, participated in the XXVII Moscow International Festival-Competition for the Best Performance of Sacred Music \"Christmas Song\". <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ensemble included students from the Faculty of Church Singing Art and the Pastoral-Theological Faculty of the MThA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition took place in Moscow, at the organ hall of the \"Radost\" Center for Creative Development and Music-Aesthetic Education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The competition program of the \"U Troitsy\" Choir Ensemble, conducted by Maria Karpova, a second-year student of the Faculty of Church Singing Art (class of teacher M.P. Shoshin), included two choral works: \"Ding-dong\" by A. Melnichuk and \"Christmas Song\" by M. Karpova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By the jury's decision, the \"U Troitsy\" choral ensemble of the Moscow Theological Academy was awarded the Grand Prix of the XXVII Moscow International Festival-Competition for the Best Performance of Sacred Music \"Christmas Song\". On February 7, 2026, as the winner of this high award, the ensemble performed at the festival's closing concert in the Great Hall of the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
