On February 3, 2025, the Moscow Theological Academy had an Open Door Day to introduce future applicants its educational programs at the undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate levels, as well as at the faculties of Church singing and Icon painting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priest Pavel Lizgunov, Vice-rector for Academic affairs, opened the event. He conveyed a welcoming word from the Bishop of Sergiev Posad and Dmitrov Kirill, Rector of the Moscow Theological Academy, and introduced the guests to the structure of the theological school. In his speech, Vice-rector paid special attention to the content of the curriculum of the theological and pastoral faculty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hegumen Daniil (Vasilenko), Vice-Rector for Educational Work, spoke about the specifics of the educational process and regulations at the Moscow Theological Academy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The executive secretary of the Admissions Committee, Khristina Brilenkova, told about the rules of the 2025 admissions campaign and indicated what documents are to be submitted to the Academic office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next, guests of the theological school were able to get acquainted with the work and educational process of each faculty separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the Elizabeth Hall, future applicants met with Archimandrite Luka (Golovkov), Dean of the Icon painting faculty. The guests learned about the procedure of admission, necessary skills that an applicant have to show, as well as the internal routine of a student at an icon painting faculty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

E.V. Borovinsky, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Church Singing Art, introduced the guests to the faculty's curriculum and talked about entrance examinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Heads of Master's profiles and Postgraduate studies at the Academy presented educational prospects implemented at the second and third stages of the higher education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
