(In Russian) doi:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Abstract<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This article provides a brief overview of the\ntheological, historical and cultural perception of the Chalcedonian Councel in\nthe Christian East in the second half of the V \u2014 and the early VI centuries.\nIts results prompted many theologians to attempt to defend or refute Chalcedon.\nThe reason for this is the teaching of the Council about the presence of two\nnatures in Christ after the incarnation and their unity \u00abin one person or\nhypostasis of Christ\u00bb. From the followers of Chalcedon Counsel, such as St. Leo\nthe Great, Gennady of Constantinople, monk Nephalius, John of Caesarea was a\nnumber of attempts to explain the doctrine of the two natures and single\nhypostasis or person.
